Switch over hasn't worked.

Hi all,

Despite plusnet saying they've closed my line out and SSE saying they've taken it over I still seem to be live with Plus Net 2 days on.

Who is at fault here and who do I contact? SSE?

Have you already changed over your router - or swapped over to using SSE credentials ?

Tried both.

Called up Plusnet and they said transfer has taken place but I'm still connected with their broadband network, placing the blame at BTOR. I called SSE who said they'd raise to their supplier to resolve. Not really sure what happens next

My Plusnet connection was still live for over a week when SSE took over my line (I was on holiday at the time but my Fishcam was still broadcasting). Plusnet had refunded my overpayment already, despite me still using their service!!!

When I came home, I unplugged my Billion router and restarted it. It failed to connect. I then plugged in the SSE router, but it took a long time to fire up, over 5 minutes. May I suggest you plug yours all in, go and make a cup of tea and come back to it 20 minutes later?

I'll give it all a go shortly!

Good news :D

Really hope things have improved and your experience is better than mine was.
