Just signed up for SSE broadband and switchover is due 1 July. However as others have tried it, we thought we'd try out the router beforehand and the speed is better than we were previously getting (around 40 mbps compared to 27 mbps), so that's the good news!
The problem is that we need a powerline adapter to give us WI-FI at the other end of the bungalow and this doesn't want to pair with the new router. Anyone have any ideas?
Also, we had a BT openreach modem as well as a router with PlusNet. Do we still need the modem or can we just use the Technicolour router plugged directly into the Openreach master socket?
How to configure Technicolour TG589vac router with TP Link AV200 powerline adapter

Re: How to configure Technicolour TG589vac router with TP Link AV200 powerline adapter
There should be no magic for the powerline adapter. Just plug the network cable into your new router and done. The 'pairing / connecting' is for linking the power line adapters together across your electrical wiring. but do you mean you want the remote end (at the back of the bungalow) to have the same wi-fi settings? If so you will need to configure that like you had done the first time.
As for BT Openreach modem - if you use just the technicolor router, you can plug this directly into the master socket and it will work with fibre!
