I have looked into the router settings today, even though I have no connection yet. I noticed that with the wirelsess SSID there is one (for example xyx123) which is the 2.4ghz connection and the one below is (xyz123-5ghz) is the 5ghz connection. Witht there being 2 different SSID's will compatible devices just switch between them or will you have to connect specifically to each one?

I've just connected a family members iPhone to the router and it showed both SSID's on the device - so you have to select which one you want to.
