Factory reset

Does the router have to be reconfigured with the SSE username and details.
I cannot remember the administrator password and wondering if I do a factory reset it will go back to the default. Is the default password admin or blank?

If you do a factory reset (using the default password admin) I believe you would need to re-enter the SSE username/password details.

These details however are provided on one of the documents provided with your router.

The username is in the format: xxxxxxxxx-sse@ssebb.co.uk where the x's are your account number.

If you can't remember the details, give SSE a call, they are pretty helpful with that info. I did when I installed a new router.
