Found I was still subscribed to some of my threads and thought I would add here.

It isn't all peachy at BT either!! Poor evening speeds again, down to the same abysmal levels from SSE. Difference is the overseas call centre who are terrible and the mods on the BT Care forum who don't reply either.

Really fed up with all of the isp's at the moment, none seem to be able to offer what they advertise!!

Not as bad as SSE was to be fair, it seems to be 1 day in every 6 where the problems occur.

that's not good, I'm guessing its due to the backbone that's in place, probably far too many people in the exchange etc.
I was going to move to a smaller ISP, but giving SSE a chance to sort some thing out...
