Changing DNS ?

Hi All,

First post.

Is it possible to change the DNS on the technicolor tg589vac router.
I have been into the router and accessed the ip extra section where you cannot change the dns.
I have also been to http://192.168.1.1/ local network / show advanced and then added a yandex family ip into the dns server box but this also does not override the default dns.

I then added a static lease to the device, and this also did not help.

Any help is welcome.

I tried changing to Google dns early in my connection using the Local Network/ Advanced tab. I didn't find it over rode the router settings though.

It did work, although it took a while to propagate.
I checked a few hours later and the changes I made had worked.
