How to test if phone line been transferred over to SSE (from BT) ?

The easiest way to check whether your telephone line has transferred over from BT to SSE is to call 150 from your phone.

If your phone service is still with BT you will get the following message:

"Hello. Thanks for calling BT"

If your phone service is with SSE you will instead hear the following message:

"Sorry, you cannot call that number from this line. Please contact your telephone service provider using the number given in your documentation"
