Although I'm getting anytime calls I am interested to know whether you can make calls through short code indirect telephone companies when on the SSE service ?
Using prefixes such as 1899, 18185, 18866 etc to make discounted calls to countries and telephone numbers that are not included in the telephone package.
Can anyone who has already been activated with SSE confirm this please ?
Thanks
Happyman

Hi Happyman,
I have been connected today and have tried the indirect prefixes you mentioned and can confirm that these do indeed work on an SSE phone line.
I've tried it on a couple of calls and each connected successfully with the pre-call price per minute.
Hope this helps,
