We currently have a major broadband problem that is preventing webpages from loading for some customers.

Our engineers are working to fix this as quickly as possible.

No, no messages posted by SSE themselves. That is a message from BT.

Ah I see.

Did it even impact SSE? They use Daisy for their core network and it was a BT routing issue so Sky/TalkTalk/Daisy were unaffected.

Yes, it affected access to many different websites for those using many different ISP's - including myself using SSE.

For me personally it prevented access to 5 or 6 different websites I tried to access during that time period.

Interesting to know, thanks.

We use Daisy Wholesale at work and weren't impacted but we had remote workers on BT and Plusnet who were. Wonder if we were just fortunate not to notice or SSE + Daisy have a slightly different setup.
