They really need to sort it out , i thought the idea of the cheap deal was to get customer in and stay with them long term , people will be leaving in there droves and SSE will be getting a terrible reputation, it could be Daisy's capacity or it could be SSE not buying enough doubt we will find out tho, im one of the lucky ones i guess as i can leave penalty free

Have you had an engineer out yet j1mgg ?

No engineer as of yet, not sure if that is because it was an upgrade from ADSL that they installed, or my issue only occurs at peak times.

It has been referred back to daisy supposedly. Another 48hrs :(

A bit choppy tonight, but usable.

Single thread speeds are still below the minimum speed for the line though.

Surprise surprise, daisy come back and say nothing is wrong.

Looks like they only use the bt wholesale tests which I have never had issues with.

Just make sure you take screenshots of test results you are getting, it is all ammunition for the ombudsman if SSE continue to say there is no issue..

Line is improving on my side (temporarily again?), although I only have 43meg throughput on a 55meg sync. I waited until I was getting the really bad single thread speeds on TBB, then used the BT speedtester and found the results to be near identical.

There probably isn't anything wrong Daisy's end if SSE haven't bought enough bandwidth , SSE wont admit that will they
