Instructions on posting speed test results

1. Visit the website http://www.speedtest.net/
2. Before proceeding further ensure that you do not have any downloads taking place from any machine on your network.
3. Click on the button 'BEGIN TEST'
4. Wait for the speed test to complete.
5. Click on the 'Share The Result' button.
6. Click on the 'Forum' tab.
7. Click on the 'Copy' button.
8. Create a new post on the forum and right click in the message section and choose paste. A link to your speed test results will then be posted on our forums. What is posted should look something like this:
9. Click on the 'Submit' button on our forum to post the results.
In addition to a 'Speed Test' website you can test the speed by downloading a large file. The following is a 1GB file that can be downloaded to test your download speed:
