Can't have fibre now?

All of a sudden (today) I put in my details here https://www.sse.co.uk/phone-and-broadba ... -broadband and it only shows ''Everyday' broadband as being available to me. Prior to that it showed the Fibre packages. I can get Fibre with BT, Sky, Plusnet, Talk Talk etc, so not sure why SSE has changed its mind. (Exchange & Cab below)

I would try it again tomorrow. When I originally signed up I had a few problems with the SSE website - It was a bit temperamental.

Unless there is no capacity in the cabinet you are connected to, but that is very unlikely if you are being offered it by other ISP's. Most likely a temporary issue with their site.

Did this work for you in the end, or are you still having problems with it only offering you ADSL services ?

Have you tried selecting one of the fibre options first on the SSE website before inputting your phone number details ?

ie, on that page rather than entering your phone number and post code clicking on the 'Or view all products' link, selecting the Superfast or Ultrafast and then trying to place the order that way ?

Clicking on the 'view all products' first just shows Adsl again. Also tried it in another browser with all cookies/cache cleared, with same results.

Even before you have put in your postcode and telephone number ?

That must be a fault with the website then if you are not getting that far.

If you want me to try it on my machine (not to order, just to see if it proceeds past) just send me a private message.

Otherwise they can probably order it over the phone for you.

Thanks for the offer mate. Already sent an email to my brother asking him to try it from his pc. Great minds eh :)

Needs to be done online ideally though, so I can have the cashback thing.
